Meet Our Staff

Beth – Business Assistant
 
Beth has been working in the dental business since 1978, when she married Dr. Hanson and started to do the bookkeeping for him and his partner, Dr. Don  Duensing, Beth's father. Staying in the background while raising their 3 children, Christopher, Emily and Jonathan, Beth began to work full time about 10 years ago. With a degree in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, she is the Billing and Insurance Administrator and Dr. Hanson’s personal assistant. Beth loves her dogs Hannah and Romy, and cat Tang, but her real joy in life is shopping!!


Martha – Dental Hygienist
 
Dr. Hanson invited Martha to join our practice in 2005. She and her husband Denny have 4 children. #1 daughter is studying for a degree in Education at UMKC. #2 daughter is at the U. of Nebraska on a soccer scholarship, studying accounting. #3 daughter will be attending Rockhurst College in the fall and is interested in nursing. Their son is at Lee’s Summit West HS where he plays soccer and runs track. They have 3 dogs: Lilli, Lacy and Sophie.




Ashley - Business Assistant

Ashley grew up in Lee’s Summit, MO, with her twin brother Ryan and graduated from Lee’s Summit High School. She has been in the dental field for the last six years and enjoys all the aspects of scheduling, customer relations, and other details that her job entails. When not at work she spends time with her two toy poodles, Paris and Caniche.

Karla - Dental Hygienist

Karla was invited to join Dr. Hanson’s practice in August of 2009. Karla and her husband of ten years relocated to Kansas in 2002 from California so her husband Steve could continue his current job in Marketing. Steve and Karla enjoy the outdoor life! In their spare time Karla and Steve enjoy cycling (both off-road and paved-road) as well as hiking outdoors. When time allows Karla loves to travel abroad with her husband.

Debbie - Hygienist

Hi! My name is Debbie, a.k.a. the jack-of-all-trades. I am here to give you the extreme make over. Not only can I get your teeth sparkly clean as a Dental Hygienist—while you are in my dental chair, I could cut & style your hair as a licensed cosmetologist. LOL! In my spare time I definitely need retail therapy (shopping) & I love to spend time with my family and friends.

Misty - Dental Assistant

Misty has been in the dental field since 1998. Originally from Independence, she now lives in the Northland with her son. Misty enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, and loves live music.

April - Dental Assistant

April lives in Sugar Creek with her husband John and her beautiful daughter Ashlynn.  As a family they enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and fishing from their new boat.  April had worked in the nursing profession for a number of years before continuing her education to become a dental assistant.  Her husband John works for AT&T as a Network Center Technician  and Ashlynn is an animal lover and aspires to be a veterinarian some day.
